Hi, I am somewhat frustrated. It is not because I am not committed to loosing weight, but because I am not sure if I am doing this right. I have been on the low carb diet for 6 days now. I have not cheated once, but I'm not sure if I will lose any weight. I usually eat bacon, cheese, lettuce and a slice of tomato with mayo and mustard for breakfast. Is this ok? What kind of strips do I need to purchase? Please help |

Hi. I am a 24 year old femail who has never seen the scale go down. It always goes up, up up..... I have been doing ATKINS 2 weeks today and have lost 14 pounds.... what do i eat???
breakfast:
HAM,CHEES,ONION,SPINNACH EGG WHITE OMLETT BACON ON TEH SIDE, SOMETIMES SAUSAGE TOO......
LUNCH,
I EAT, FRIED CHICKEN WINGS, NO BATTER.....I DIP THEM IN HOT SAUCE AND RANCH DRESSING.... YUMMY..... SALAD....
DINNER,
I COOK CHESSBURGERS NO BREAD, ON TEH FORMAN..... I PUT MAYO, KETCHUP,. MUSTARD, PICKLES, EVERTHING......
THEN I HAVE THE LOW CARB KLONDIKE FUDGICLES FOR A SNACK.....

My name is Cindy and I just started the Atkins diet. Today is day 4. I am wanting to lose 25 lbs. I feel pretty determined to lose this weight but am feeling awful today and also a few days ago. The second day, I had a bad headache and very tired. (Said to be normal enough.) Today, I have been running to the washroom with diarrhea. I am drinking lots of water today thinking that maybe my body is detoxing??? Could I have had Candida and my body is getting rid of it with kill off? Sorry if this is to detailed but ......................... |

hi, i just started atkins today and i hope i make it through induction!i weigh about 138 right now and wear a size 5 im hoping to go to 120 something but i get stuck on what to eat because at work they always order out and i know its bad to eat all that junk and im only 19 but i dont want to risk my health eating out all the time any suggestions? |

I have experienced similiar problems. I did atkins about 8 month ago and lost 6 pounds the first week. I kept below 20g carbs and felt like crap(naseau, fatigue,lightheaded). So I quit and kept the pounds gone eating "normal". I am now trying to lose the last 5 and I can't. I can't get in ketosis on 20 grams, I tried 10 and couldn't do it. I waas vetetarian for 10 years and with only 10 grams carbs,there's virtually no veggies. I'm struggling.....so I have this cinnamin roll to console me. |

I did Atkin's eating 10 g of carbs or less for 3 days. I have withdrawal symptoms and I have horrible anxiety. I am definitely going to limit carbs but I am not going under a 150. I'd rather lose weight slowly than feel like this. :( |
