Ive been on the atkins diet for about 3 weeks so far. The first two weeks I lost about 17 or 18 pounds...which really made me happy. But this last week I have lost nothing, and havent noticed a change in size or anything yet. I realize that its normal to lose a lot of weight at once when starting a new diet, but shouldnt i still be losing something??? Since I quit losing weight, Im thinking about staying on the induction diet for a while longer, but what can I do differently to start the weight loss progress again??? Does water make all that much of a difference? I drink more diet sprite than i do water....Hopefully somebody will read this soon!! |

Water does make a big difference. Also Are you eating the Atkins bars? If so stay off of them for a week or two to see if you notice a difference. I'm at a plateau myself, and have started drinking even MORE water if that's possible. I've been on the diet for 5 months and have just stalled. I am also staying on induction because i had quite a lot to lose.
keep up the good work don't get discouraged Lorri |

Is there a problem eating Atkins Advantage bars??? I've seen a few other postings and they say they try to keep away from them??? There's only 2 carbs per bar, so what would be the problem with them? |

The bars stall me everytime. Atkins can claim there's 2 or 3 net carbs, but I subtract *only* the fiber and count those carbs. That's the only way I don't stall on them.
Some people never stall on them. Then again some people can eat 20 carbs a day and lose LOL. :O) |
