Hi
I've been "doing Atkins" religiously for 5 months and so far have lost 35 pounds, but now I'm at a stand still. I still have 35-40 pounds to go and have stalled. Any ideas or suggestions to jump start the weight loss? |

Congrats. on your loss, when I got stuck for a long time, I went off the diet for 1-2 days, then went back to induction and lost a lot more. I know you are not suppose to do this, but it was the only thing that worked for me. |

I think you need to do something drastic. As I have learned in the past you'll either need to go back to induction, increase your workouts (ie: if you normally do cardio for 30 min. increase it to 45 min. or 1 hour or increase workouts during the week) also cut out processed foods...bars, low-carb chocolates etc. You'll only need to do this for a week or two and your body should kick right back into gear! |

Thanks for the advice. I haven't gone off off induction. I did cut down on the atkins bars, etc, as far as increasing cardio, my problem is that I',m paralyzed on my right side. I do get in a lot of swimming and some walking, weather permitting. Thanks again for replying
