Preparing
Maple Syrup Substitute: Empty contents of the Whey Low®
Maple bag and pour 7 ounces of tap water into a 1-quart saucepan. Heat
contents on stove top with constant stirring to just boiling OR microwave
on the highest setting the above ingredients in a microwaveable bowl
for 7 minutes (with intermittent stirring after 4 and 6 minutes). Cool
to preferred temperature and use resulting 2 cups of syrup as desired.
Store syrup in a tightly-sealed, microwaveable glass container at room
temperature. For reuse, reheat the syrup for 2 minutes in the microwave
and stir afterwards.
