Okay - I need help. I know I won't read all of the books to get started on this so is there a basic plan to get a person going. Weight Watcher's has worked for me in the past (lost 30 lbs and put it right back on) but I can't take those meetings with people talking about how they've found ways to cheat and still be legal.

Is there a basic formula for lowcarb dieting?

I appreciate any motivating advise anyone can give as well.

www.atkinscenter.com has all the info you need. They have an acceptable foods list for induction you can print off, and the rules for induction. Very handy information if you don't feel like you can get through the book.

Stay under 20 carbs a day, and don't eat any bread, flour, pasta, rice, fruit or sugar. Be careful what vegetables you eat. The Website will fill you in on all of that though. The Acceptable foods list is great and easy to follow. Very specific of what you can have and how much.

Good luck!
